The new 50S offers a premium audio experience with SOUND BY Harman Kardon. The speakers and microphone were designed in collaboration with the audio experts at Harman Kardon to ensure premium sound for one of Sena's most popular. The new microphone with a state-of-the-art sensor ensures optimal performance for voice transmission while driving, and the new speakers guarantee significantly improved sound quality.


MESH: THE NEW STANDARD
The 50S's mesh technology provides a new level of robust, reliable connectivity and self-optimized, flexible routing of intercom messages thanks to significant technical improvements to the original Sena Mesh Intercom™ algorithm. With astonishing speed, individual mesh units actively exchange information and ensure 80% more data is transmitted through the sophisticated system of prompts and responses between mesh units. In addition, the mesh units constantly determine the optimal transmission path for efficient conversation between drivers.

Sena's mesh technology provides all Sena Mesh Intercom™ users with unparalleled intercom audio quality and robust connectivity. Tested and proven in the most demanding situations, Sena's mesh network keeps communication lines clear and stable with your driving partners.


MULTI-CHANNEL COMMUNICATIONS AND PRIVATE CALLS
The 50S offers not one, but three distinct communication modes: multi-channel Open Mesh Intercom™, Group Mesh Intercom™ and Bluetooth Intercom.

Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom (Open Mesh) offers the industry's first Mesh Intercom™ multi-channel system. Similar to CB radios, the 50S allows users to switch between nine different channels while in Open Mesh mode. A single button press is all it takes to connect to the mesh network, which then allows you to connect to an almost unlimited number of users within a range of up to 8km (at least 6 riders at 1.6km intervals)! With this fast and easy connection method, the enormous number of participants, the impressive range and the nine-channel functionality, the Open Mesh Intercom mode of the 50S certainly offers an immense merh value for large groups.

If private group communication is preferred, it is easy to switch to Group Mesh Intercom mode, which can then be used to form a private group with up to 24 participants and the same impressive range as in Open Mesh mode. To ensure privacy, only invited users can join the group chat here. Whichever of the two Mesh Intercom™ modes you choose: You enjoy stable reliability in Sena's mesh network.

Classic four-way Bluetooth intercom is still an option to connect the 50C with other Sena Bluetooth users. The 50C can then even act as a bridge between the mesh network and Bluetooth headset, adding the latter to the mesh conversation.


CONTROL WITH VOICE COMMANDS
To operate your 50S, you don't even need to lift your finger anymore. Voice commands give you control over the device's functions such as answering a phone call or starting a group mesh session. Voice commands are available in eight languages; English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.

But what if you run out of gas? "Hey Google, directions to the nearest gas station." With a simple voice command, the 50S connects to Google and Apple digital assistants, allowing full use of your smartphone, including GPS navigation, music playback, voice dialing and a host of other options. Want to know where the nearest pizzeria is? Need to find a hotel for the night? Play your favorite playlist? - All you have to ask is "Hey Siri" or "Hey Google!" -

FAST CHARGING AND AUTOMATIC UPDATES WITH THE SENA WIFI ADAPTER
The 50S features a high-energy density battery that charges 30% faster than its predecessor. The headset is fully charged in just one hour and provides up to nine hours of talk time in mesh intercom mode or up to 14 hours in Bluetooth intercom mode. The fast charge provides up to 3.5 hours of mesh communication or 6 hours of Bluetooth communication after only 20 minutes.

The included WiFi adapter keeps your device charged and can even be programmed to automatically install available firmware updates to the device. Simply connect the adapter to your Wi-Fi network, set it up once, and it will be able to detect and install updates when the headset is connected. Keeping your Sena headset up to date has never been easier!


CONTROL AT THE TOUCH OF A BUTTON WITH THE SENA MOTORCYCLES APP
The new Sena Motorcycles app gives users the ability to visually configure the settings of their 50S. Download the app to customize the settings and features of your 50S so you can, for example, manage channel settings for Open Mesh or set up a private group for Group Mesh. The Sena Motorcycles app can be easily downloaded from the App Store or Google Play store.
